Toronto, Ontario (January 24, 2017) - Global sport and lifestyle apparel brand Levelwear announced today Canada's rising golf star Adam Hadwin will become its newest global ambassador, endorsing the brand's on trend, technically superior and value rich performance and lifestyle apparel on and off the course.
Hadwin made history this past week at the CareerBuilder Challenge, becoming the 4th player in PGA TOUR history to shoot sub 60 on a par 72 course. As Hadwin sunk a 3-footer on the 18th hole on Saturday, he finished the round with an incredible 59, the first Canadian ever to do so on the PGA TOUR. During the Golf Channel broadcast, Hadwin was given the nickname "Mr. Northern 59." Hadwin, now entering his third year on Tour, has hit his stride, capturing numerous top ten finishes, and is poised to capture his first PGA Tour victory. Born in Saskatchewan and raised in BC, Hadwin brokethrough on the Web.com Tour in 2014 where he captured titles at the Chile Classic and Chiquita Classic to eventually win the combined Web.com Tour's money list, earning his PGA TOUR card.
"Whether I'm practicing or playing, I have learned over the years that what I wear impacts my play. Apparel that allows me to feel good from a performance, innovation and style perspective is something that has always been important to me," said Hadwin. "Throughout the process of testing Levelwear's apparel, I was thrilled to learn of its comfort, flexibility, and quality while still manifesting a sense of style. I am thrilled to become part of the Levelwear family."
Levelwear has achieved much success through its commitment to delivering on trend, technically superior, and value rich apparel to many of the iconic green grass facilities. Levelwear has established business relationships with roughly 80 of the top 100 golf clubs in both Canada and the US. Hadwin joins a team of Levelwear ambassadors which include Brad Fritsch and Greg Owen.
"We look forward to watching Adam compete in Levelwear this PGA TOUR season. Adam's work ethic, commitment to improvement, and attitude reflect the very foundation of Levelwear's mission to constantly push boundaries and limits," stated Hilton Ngo, president of Levelwear.
